Reflecting 2017

It’s my last blog post of 2017 and I can’t believe what a journey it’s been. I wrote a post about a week ago talking about what I learned during 2017, but I’ve done a bit more reflection as the year ends.

I put together a little video for myself to remember the year. I posted it on my blog’s Facebook page if you want to take a peak! I’ll also graze through what I reflected on here as well.

Last Minute New Years Eve Outfits

I don’t know about you, but New Years Eve is one of my least favorite holidays. There’s always so much pressure to have a blast and it can be so expensive! This year my plan it to stop by and hang out with some old friends and then maybe stay up late enough to see the ball drop. I just feel like the best way to start 2018 isn’t with a hangover, you know?

Outfit of the Week: Lace Dress

Hello everyone! Long time no talk! I apologize for being absent for about a week, but it was a much needed hiatus. I just finished up my fall semester of my senior year and I felt a desperate need to reset. So instead of dishing out sub-par content, I decided to take a step back.

I also felt a compete lack of inspiration which added to my absence. Again I didn’t want to post anything that I didn’t stand behind. So some blog post ideas that were suggested and my break, I’m happy to say that I’m re-inspired and re-energized! Without further ado I wanted to show you all what I wore for Christmas Eve.

2017 Lessons

2017 was a whirlwind of a year. I feel like I just blinked and January turned into December. This was a year of many firsts and some wonderful experiences. After sitting down with a tea, I started some serious self-reflecting. I wanted to go back and remember some of the ideas that suck with me throughout the year and today I’m sharing with you all my list of what lessons I learned in 2017.

Staying Cozy with Simple Loose Leaf

One of my favorite activities to do during the winter months is to go on Pinterest and look up aesthetically pleasing winter pictures. Something about seeing others wrapped in blankets with their movies and fireplaces really puts me in a relaxing mood. Weird I know.

And if you know me personally, you’d know that I’m not exaggerating when I say that I’m all over the aesthetic of things or the “feel” of a set up. But, when it comes to the evening and I’m looking to curl up with another Vlogmas on YouTube, my drink of choice definitely can not be coffee. Lately I’ve been drawn towards drinking loose leaf tea and today I’m sharing some of my own aesthetically pleasing pictures to definitely give you those cozy vibes.

21 Activities to do this Winter Break

I asked, and you all say “heck yes!” So I will be participating in 12 Days of Blogmas which will feature a blog post every day for the twelve days leading up to Christmas. If you have any suggestions for posts or anything you’d like me to cover, just let me know! So without further delay, here is Blogmas Day One!
