Outfit of the Week Under $30

School has started and I couldn’t be happier, I mean when classes are only twice a week who wouldn’t be. For my Fridays I want to check out some local coffee shops and so my friend and I checked out this cafe that revolves around vinyl records — super cool and great lattes.

While we were out, Hannah was nice enough to take some picks of my latest obsession. This dress is the best. Her pictures also all came out amazing (check her out!) it was hard to pick out just a few!

Bath & Body Works Fall Haul

I’m finally moved back into my apartment for school! Ahh I’m so excited to be living on my own once again. Living on my own is so enjoyable for me because it means I get to be in change of everything: what groceries I want to buy, when I want to eat dinner, what soap I want in the bathroom — whatever!

To reward myself for unpacking all my school stuff I grabbed some of new scents from the Bath & Body Works Fall Arrivals. If you ever stop by my apartment now, please go use my bathroom so that you can see the fun stuff on display! Continue reading “Bath & Body Works Fall Haul”

How I use a Physical and Digital Planner Without Going Crazy

If you see me running to my next class or sitting at a cafe on campus you will likely see two things with me at all times: my water bottle and my planner. Fortunately, this post is not about why I love carrying my water with me everywhere.

So I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love writing in my planner and the process of getting a new planner is always a long one. But what’s funny is that I don’t just use one planner. I’m always using my physical planner and my google calendar. Today I’m giving you the low-down on my planner situation, what planner I use, what I use each platform for, and how I keep track of it all without missing a beat.

Six Habits to Start Your First Week of School

This is my last year of schooling ever (Cue the sad music and the panic attack).  Whenever someone brings up being a senior I love to gush about my passion for learning, school supplies, and basically being a big nerd when it comes to school. I love it and it’s almost unfathomable that this chapter of my life will be coming to a close. I’m already riddled with nostalgia and it’s only August.

After years of “First Days” I sat down and thought about the habits that I tend to reinstate once I head back to school. I came up with six habits that I start working on during my first week back at school that really benefit me in the long run and hopefully can help you too. J Crew Fall Lookbook

I’m one of those people that as soon as school starts, I’m jumping head first into everything Fall. Last year, I even paraded around with a shirt that said “You Had Me at Pumpkin Spice.” At the risk of sounding like every other girl who blogs or is in college: I love Fall.

So to celebrate the Fall season I rounded up my favorite J.Crew pieces from their newest line and put together my thoughts on what I’ll be wearing while sipping my PSL by the fire. There are links* to shop for your convenience!

Monthly Favorites: July

August is finally here, which means I can finally confess that I’ve been accumulating school supplies since early July. It’s just that I love being a student and this is my last year to soak it all in. Lucky for you all, I get to share with you all the school related (and some other fun purchases) that I’ve been loving all July and can’t wait to utilize this month! Travel Diary: St. Louis, Missouri

I love being able to stay that I traveled across the ocean and solo traveled. But, I think it's safe to say that I know myself well enough to say that I'm a homebody and I much rather travel closer to home (home the people, not the place). So, when my friends from college suggested we make a trip to St. Louis I knew I had to get in on it. Check out this post to read all about my St. Louis travel diary!
